Sheet Mask Review: The Face Shop Character Nourishing Mask (The Cow)

Today I'll be reviewing The Face Shop Character Nourishing Mask (aka The Cow). On the front it cites that it uses fresh milk!

Price

I got my mask from the nearby TFS store for $3.

Look and Fit

The mask's fit was okay for my face. I have a low hairline so there's always going to be extra mask in that portion. However, the holes were a bit low on my face when the nose piece is properly in place.

On the mask is a prink of a cow face. It's kind of interesting, a bit creepy to me. Scared my roommate too, haha! At the start it was trying to slip a bit but after a few minutes it stopped doing that.

Scent and Texture

There wasn't really much of a scent from what I could tell. As for the mask's texture, it was made of a cotton sheet. The feel though... oh the feel of the mask. The essence has a gel-like consistency that, when soaked into the mask material, felt like snot. It was kind of gross for me since that like of slimy-gel texture is off-putting for me. I do not know if it's just this mask or the whole line though.

Effect

I left my mask on for half an hour (the package advised 10-15 minutes). When I removed it, my skin felt plump and hydrated; I will from now on refer to this as "squishy". Because that's honestly the best description! My skin was squishy and soft and springy. It was very nice!

Overall Impression

Overall, the mask was interesting. It looked creepy-cool and was cooling on my face and make my skin nice and squishy. However, the feel of the mask as I was pulling it out was really unpleasant and the fit was a bit poor along with the slippage on my face.

Would I repurchase? Maybe. I'm still unsure honestly. In time, if I figure out a yes or no, I'll updates this post with the decision.
